“THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES INCREASED 3% IN RELATION TO 2015. CURRENTLY, 55% OF THE WORK FORCE IS FEMALE.”

UBC ended the year of 2016 with a total of 22.7 thousand members, of which 94% are individuals and 9% of these are women.

The number of employees increased 3% in relation to 2015. Currently, 55% of the work force is female.

The administration expenses with post office mailing underwent a reduction of 51% with the extinction of financial statements in paper in 2016.

The registration processes made a great leap in relation to the previous years. In 2016, approximately 500 thousand musical works, 70 thousand recordings and almost 5 thousand audiovisual works were registered.

Registration of cue-sheets specifically increased 270% in relation to the previous year, which ended up contributing to the increase in distributed amounts resulting from cinema and TV.

A total of half a million Reais (BRL) was invested in the assistance program, which aims to provide a package of benefits to members enabling them to deal with eventual special needs ensuring them a minimum of health assistance, remuneration and care guidance.
